Privacy Notice

Last updated October 20, 2026

rytm is built to collect as little as possible. There’s no account, no analytics and no ads. This notice explains what the app stores, what it sends, and why. The controller of this data is Adam Pasierski - flapp.studio (NIP 7471938809), reachable at hello@flapp.studio. The waitlist on this website has its own notice.

What stays on your device

Your name and birth date, the names and birth dates of people you add for comparisons, your language and appearance settings, your reminder time, your widget theme and a copy of your Pro status so it keeps working offline. All biorhythm values are calculated on your phone. None of this leaves your device, and we never see it.

Home-screen widgets read the same on-device data to show today’s values. On iPhone they use an app group shared only between rytm and its widget.

Share images

When you tap Share, rytm creates an image on your phone with names and calculated values (never birth dates) and opens your system share sheet. Where it goes from there is up to you and the app you share it with.

Purchases

Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have rytm Pro. RevenueCat receives a random app user ID created by the app, your purchase history from the store, and basic device information (such as platform, app version and store country) needed to validate purchases. It never receives your name, birth dates or the people you add. We never see your payment details.

Reminders

Daily reminders are scheduled on your device. rytm asks for permission only when you switch the reminder on. There’s no push server and no reminder data leaves your device. You can turn them off in Settings at any time.

What we don’t do

We don’t run analytics, we don’t sell data, we don’t show ads, we don’t track you across other apps or websites, and we don’t use advertising IDs. rytm doesn’t ask for your location, contacts, camera or photos.

Who receives data

RevenueCat processes purchase data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. The App Store and Google Play handle purchases as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. Nobody else receives data from the app.

RevenueCat is based in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, it is protected by the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Why we can use it

Purchase data is processed because it’s needed to provide what you bought (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Everything else stays on your device and is only used to run the app for you. Using rytm doesn’t require you to give us any personal data, and we don’t make automated decisions about you.

How long we keep it

On-device data stays until you delete it. Purchase records are kept by RevenueCat and the stores for as long as they’re needed for your purchase and for legal reasons.

Your choices and rights

Settings → “Delete my data” removes your profile, the people you added and your settings from this device. Deleting the app removes everything it stored. Your Pro purchase stays with your store account and can be restored.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the use of data about you, and to complain to your data protection authority (in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO). For purchase records held by RevenueCat, email hello@flapp.studio and we’ll help.

Children

rytm isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from them. The app itself collects no personal data off the device.

Changes

If we change what the app collects, we’ll update this notice and the date above before the change ships.
