Hopshelf

Terms of Use (EULA)

Last updated October 7, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Hopshelf app, published by flapp.studio. By installing or using it you agree to them. On iPhone, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies between you and Apple; if it conflicts with these terms, it takes precedence for the Apple-specific parts.

Who it’s for

Hopshelf is for people of legal drinking age in their country. It’s a record of beers you’ve tried, alcohol-free beers included. It doesn’t sell alcohol, encourage drinking or reward consumption. Please drink responsibly.

Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Hopshelf on your own devices. You may not copy, modify, resell or reverse engineer the app, except where the law says you can.

Your content

The photos, notes and details you add are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the app for you, as the Privacy Notice describes. You’re responsible for what you add and share, and you should only add photos you’re entitled to use.

Label details are suggestions

When the app reads a package, it suggests details such as the name, brewery or style. They may be incomplete or wrong, so please check them before you save. Hopshelf isn’t a source of product, ingredient, allergen or strength information, and shouldn’t be relied on for those.

Automatic additions and Premium

A number of automatic additions is included to start. More can be bought in packs, and a one-time Premium purchase adds shelf themes, collections, tags, arrangement and richer posters, with a one-off bonus of additions. Premium isn’t a subscription. Adding beers by hand, repeat tastings, basic sharing, export and deletion don’t use additions. If automatic recognition fails, the addition isn’t used. Payment, refunds and restoring purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their rules; use “Restore purchases” in the app on a new device.

Brands and trademarks

Beer names, labels and logos belong to their owners. Hopshelf isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by any brewery or brand. The sample beers shown in the app are fictional.

Our liability

Hopshelf is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, flapp.studio isn’t liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the app, or for a loss of data if you don’t back up or link your account. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can’t be limited, or liability that can’t be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions? Email hello@flapp.studio or see Support.
