Unpile

Terms of Use

Last updated September 30, 2026

These terms cover your use of Unpile, a to-do app published by flapp.studio ("we", "us") that turns what's on your mind into tasks and helps you start the first one. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Unpile.

Who can use it

Unpile is meant for people aged 16 and over. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms with you.

No account

You don't need an account. Your tasks, steps, streak and settings are stored on this device. If you delete the app, use Delete all my data or lose the device, that data is gone and we can't restore it.

Unpile Plus

Unpile needs an Unpile Plus subscription after setup. During setup you can try the whole app once on your own list, including one AI brain dump and one AI task split, before you decide. Unpile Plus is sold as a subscription, with a free trial where offered.

Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown when you subscribe until you cancel. You can cancel at least 24 hours before renewal in your App Store or Google Play account settings, or from Settings → Manage subscription. Deleting the app or your data does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. Prices and what Unpile Plus includes may change; changes to a subscription price apply only after you're told and, where the store requires it, after you agree.

AI features

Unpile uses AI to turn your brain dump into tasks, guess how long each one takes, and split big tasks into small steps. To do this, the text of your dump or task is sent to an AI provider (see the Privacy Notice). You can edit or delete everything the AI suggests before you save it.

AI suggestions can be wrong, incomplete or oddly worded. Check them before you rely on them, especially for anything with a deadline, money, health or legal consequences. You decide what to do and when; we aren't responsible for decisions you make based on a suggestion.

Don't use the AI features to create anything illegal or harmful, or try to make them do something other than organise your tasks. Unlimited brain dumps are subject to fair use (currently 60 AI requests a day) so the service stays fast for everyone. If a suggestion is wrong or inappropriate, tell us through Settings → Report an AI problem.

Not medical advice

Unpile is a productivity tool. It isn't a medical device and doesn't diagnose or treat any condition, including ADHD, anxiety or depression. If you're struggling, please talk to a health professional.

Your content

What you say, type or import stays yours. You give us permission to process it only to provide the app's features, as described in the Privacy Notice. Please don't put other people's sensitive information in your dumps unless you need to.

Fair use of the app

The app, its design, text and the Pip mascot belong to flapp.studio. You may use Unpile for your own personal planning. Please don't copy, resell or redistribute it, reverse-engineer it, get around the subscription or usage limits, or use it in a way that breaks the law or harms others.

Availability and changes

We may update, change or remove features, including the AI features and the providers behind them, and we may update these terms. If we make a significant change we'll show it in the app. If you keep using Unpile after a change, you accept the new terms.

Liability

Unpile is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, missed deadlines, or losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

For iOS users: Apple is not a party to these terms and isn't responsible for the app or its content. Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement also applies.
