Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Ariora, a music-history learning app published by flapp.studio ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Ariora.

Who can use it

Ariora is meant for people aged 13 and over, and asks for your birth year when you start. Explicit songs don't play for listeners under 18. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms with you.

No account

You don't need an account. Your progress, streak, saved songs and settings are stored on this device. If you delete the app, reset your progress or lose the device, that data is gone and we can't restore it.

Free and Premium

The first lesson of every path is free. Premium unlocks every lesson and practice feature and is sold as a subscription (with a free trial where offered).

Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown when you subscribe until you cancel. You can cancel at least 24 hours before renewal in your App Store or Google Play account settings, or from Settings → Manage or cancel subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. Prices and what Premium includes may change; changes to a subscription price apply only after you're told and, where the store requires it, after you agree.

Lessons and music

Lessons are written for learning and entertainment. We work to keep them accurate, but mistakes can happen. If you spot one, tap the flag on the answer and tell us.

Song previews are 30-second clips streamed from Apple's iTunes catalog. The recordings, artwork and artist names belong to their owners. Their appearance in the app doesn't mean any artist or label endorses it.

Fair use of the app

The lessons, text, illustrations, the Aria mascot and the app itself belong to flapp.studio. You may use them for your own personal learning. Please don't copy, resell or redistribute the content, reverse-engineer the app, or use it in a way that breaks the law or harms others.

Availability and changes

We may update, change or remove features and lessons, and we may update these terms. If we make a significant change we'll show it in the app. If you keep using Ariora after a change, you accept the new terms.

Liability

Ariora is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

For iOS users: Apple is not a party to these terms and isn't responsible for the app or its content. Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement also applies.
